The RCMP Musical Ride is Coming to KamloopsHosted by Aurora Centennial Rotary Club of Kamloops
The Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora Centennial, along with presenting partners BCLC and Cascades Casinos, are proud to welcome the RCMP Musical Ride to Kamloops as part of Canada’s 150th anniversary celebrations this summer! A Canadian tradition since 1876, a troop of 32 scarlet coated “Mounties” on majestic black horses present a 45 minute show of intricate figures and cavalry drills choreographed to music.
Join us on August 29th and 30th, 2017 at 6:00 – 7:30PM. Residents and visitors are invited to come out to see the world-renowned troop of 32 horses and riders perform at McArthur Island Park (1655 Island Parkway, Kamloops, BC.)
This is a rain or shine event, so people should be prepared. Please bring a blanket or lawn chair as seating is limited and you may be on the grass. Public is encouraged to visit the horses and members in the stables (McArthur Island Curling Rink) from 9AM to 9PM on the 29th and 30th of August. No ticket purchase required. There will be live music and community displays/booths, including all the first responders, along with the Food Trucks.
All proceeds from this event will help Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora Centennial support their local programs including the Kamloops Therapeutic Association, TRU Foundation Grant, the Starfish Backpack Program, and international projects such as Light Up Guatemala, along with many other projects and services like the Rotary Youth Leadership Event, International Student Exchanges, and Rotary Food Bank Drives. Our club will also be supporting victims of the wildfire.
Tickets can be purchased in person at Flavours of India, Kamloops Insurance, Fortune Health Foods, and The Horse Barn. If you wish to purchase tickets online, you may do so below via Ticket Tailor.
